Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion

The PTSA has a mission to make every child’s potential a reality by engaging and empowering families and communities to advocate for all children. Our mission requires that diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) be central to our work and used in our day-to-day decisions and actions. With all of this in mind, the Sanderlin PTSA has created a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion Committee.

JBS DEI TALK SERIES
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Virtual Talk Series

We are thrilled to host this year-long series featuring open and honest conversation about diversity, equity, and inclusion. The JBS DEI Talk Series will be held on Monday nights throughout the school year.

This series is intended for adult participants within our community.

HOW IT WORKS

Each virtual talk will highlight a short, thought-provoking video. Participants will watch the assigned video (typically a 15-minute TedTalk) prior to our Monday night conversation. Then we will meet for a 1-hour open, community conversation to discuss.

To participate, review the ground rules, and complete the registration form. Once registered, an email with meeting details will be emailed to you.

Please come to any and all of the discussions you can.
