Hello Sanderlin Sea Turtle Learning Community,
Thank you for a wonderful first day of school! The students came ready and well prepared and we had a really great first day. We appreciate your patience as we work through our dismissal processes with the increase in students and families. If you are a car rider after school, please make sure that you have reviewed the new car rider dismissal process. This is VERY important for those families who park at the road and walk up to pick up their child. These children will be released at the 3:05 bell as walkers and WILL NOT be called as a car rider on TEAMS. Please make sure that you put in your child’s agenda that they are a walker if you are walking up to walk them off campus. If you plan to go through the car line, then your child should be listed as a car rider. It will greatly expedite our dismissal processes if you review those expectations for car line and follow them. If you have questions, please make sure you contact us to help you.
I really appreciate all the support that we have received from you as we navigate yet another interesting school year beginning. I am very confident after seeing all of our students and their enthusiasm today that we are going to have a wonderful 2021-2022 school year.
